Lectors, or Ministers of the Word, are the storytellers of the community and lovers of the Word who desire to communicate the Good News to the community. At St. John / St. Francis de Sales Catholic Parish, we proclaim God’s Word at Saturday and Sunday liturgies, and other special liturgical celebrations throughout the year.

Reminders (specific to St. Francis de Sale)

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before Mass begins. Give yourself time to:

• Check the Lectionary readings (marked for correct date & cycle)
• Review the petitions both in the official guide & our “Green notebook.”
• Know who the Mass Intention is for – and if there is a Second Collection.
